Step 3 Assign whatever settler (or robot if you have Automatron) to the pads. Make sure to use a Beta Wave Emitter, this will make the creature non-hostile to you and spectators, but hostile to whomever is assigned to the team pads. Or, place one team pad, and a cage of whatever creature you want to capture. Step 2 Place the "team" pads on opposite ends, and use the powered doors so that contestants can't see each other until you flip a switch.
Place wooden benches (the kind without a backside) around it and make sure the spectators are high enough to see, and have a clear path to the seats.
